"It's the 64th annual Amazing Race in Houston, Texas!", the commetetar yelled through the speakers. "I can't wait". The referee said, "Ready, set go!" The 7 cars raced.

But one man's car didn't move. It was then the man realized that he forgot to fuel the car. "Well, I guess I'll go walk", the man said. No one in the history of the Amazing Race has EVER walked before! The man knew that if he won, he would make history. If he lost, at least he tried.

The man got out of his car and walked with 173 water bottles. He got past Stage 1, the Plains. Stage 2 was the desert. There were 15 stages so the man kept walking. The commentators laughed at the man saying, "When will he stop? That's enough to send him to last place!". The 6th car was already on Stage 4. The man kept walking.

Stage 3 was the snow in the state of Montana. Even the man was freezing cold, he carried on. 15 million people watched the 6 other cars advance to stage 6. The man's wife and children were glum because they could not see the man anywhere. The followers that came along the raced laughed at the man. The man ignored them.

After walking through the Great Plains of Alberta, Stage 4 was the City of Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The citizens of Calgary threw garbage and wild animals at the man. A police officer tried to even beat the man. The Calgary Flames hockey team tried hard not to laugh at the man, even though the man was a an Army Officer.

Stage 5 was the Rocky Mountains. The man saw a car sinking in the lake. The man knew he would be fooled if he lifted the car out the water. So, he kept on walking. The man was in 6th place now.

Stage 6 was the City of Vancouver, BC, Canada. The citizens of Vancouver realized that the man had walked forwerd one spot. They said, "Oh my goodness! How could it be?". The man was walking into 5th place!

It was evening by the time the man reached Stage 7, the City of Seattle, Washington, USA.

The man couldn't stop because the taxi car guy could get past him. So, he rested for 2 hours and then, he walked again. The mayor of Seattle said, "He, the walking person has become one of the greatest people of the Amazing Race Hall Of Fame".

Stage 8 was the City of San Fransisco. The citizens saw the man and said, "You've walked into 5th place? WOW!!!!!!"

The man walked past the Golden Gate Bridge. The cars and drivers had a pit stop at Los Angeles, which was Stage 10. The man couldn't not wait to go to the City of Angels

The man's goal was Stage 9- San Jose then Stage 10-Los Angeles. The drivers stayed at Los Angeles for 1 night then go to Stage 11 which was Las Vegas. Then, Stage 12 was Phoenix, Arizona. Stage 13 was San Antonio, Texas. Stage 14 was Dallas, and the last stage was back at Houston

The man was in San Jose. The 4th car accidentally hat the wall and flipped onto the memorial. The man was now in 4th place.

"Ve! Ve!", said a citizen of San Jose.

The cars were parked at a hotel in Los Angeles. The man went inside the hotel. A receptionist was at the counter. "Hey", she said. "Name?". The man replied, "Philp Adams". "There's a room for you on the second floor. Turn right and once you find number 309 go in". "OK", said the man.
