I dedicate this story to my arms, for always being at my side, and my legs, for always supporting me

Today was the day. Me and my friends were going to the brand new amusement park, TGSOE, near Dinosaur Valley. I was ecstatic to see the ferris wheel, the roller coasters, and everything in between. Me and my friends split into two cars, then drove to the park. After arriving, I felt the smell of snickerdoodle and popcorn filling the air. We entered the park and started exploring.

The pathways were unusually narrow, making me feel claustrophobic. My eyes drifted across the sky, searching for some sort of relief. Then, my eyes landed on the ferris wheel. What was it about that wheel that made me feel terrified for no reason. I stared at it. It felt like some sort of powerful presence looming over me. For a single moment of infinity, I swear it stared back.

My friend then grabbed my shoulder. “Hey, which ride you wanna do first?” I jumped a bit, startled out of my daze. “Uh I don't know. What about everyone else. Have they decided?” I responded, trying to act natural. “Well, they all want to go on the ferris wheel.” Just my luck. Guess i'll just have to go anyway. I managed to dismiss the feeling, and continued ahead to join my friends.

After the feeling of claustrophobia passed, I realized how expansive the park truly was. It almost seemed to stretch on for miles in every direction. It truly exceeded my expectations. On my way to the ferris wheel with all my friends, I overheard two park operators having a conversation. "The rides haven't been checked in over a month. Are you sure they're safe?" One said. Well that's encouraging...

After a few minutes of walking, we arrived at the ferris wheel. Our group was to big for one car, so I volunteered to go in one alone. These ferris wheel cars were sort of fancy. There was a glass bottom and glass seats, so you felt like you were floating in the air. There was also a small disk on a pole in the middle that could spin. I assumed this was for entertaining little kids... I'm gonna spin it anyway.
