A long long time ago, there was a sad event that happen out at sea. This made life hard for us sea animals. It had a huge effect to our beloved sea. Luckily, grandmother crab lived to tell the tale and passed it down to my mom, then to me and my brothers and sisters.

It all started in a city, down in the deep blue sea, called Oceana. Everyone there were so happy! They sang, danced, and even played games together like hide 'n seek!

One bright sunny day, Dolphino jr. went for a swim. He had a lot of fun dancing and doing flips. But, as he was going to do a flip, he saw a huge ship that was coming by. He got scared and dived back to the city, warning the other's about the huge ship.

When Dolphino warned the other's in the city, everyone was panicking! They were all swimming around screaming. They all swam and hid in their homes. After only a matter of seconds, the city was like a ghost town.

While they all hid, they heard a huge sound. They'd realized it came from the surface of the sea. When the sound had stopped, the dolphins went up to the surface to see what happened. They saw that the huge ship fell over!

The dolphins then saw black goo that was spilling out of the huge ship. They saw the black goo start to spread so, they quickly swam back to the city. They tried to get all of the other's in the city to get out of their homes so they could flee!

By the time the dolphins got every animal out, it was too late. The oil had sunken deep into the sea. The oil started spreading even more. The oil started making it hard for every sea animal to breathe. The oil killed a lot of sea animals, even land birds. It started changing the sea, including Oceana.
