Gone but not forgotten: my beloved son, JCole. You will be missed.
3-23-18 RIP

The museum curator of the Louvre, Jacques Saunière, was murdered by Silas, a monk of Opus Dei.

Silas was questioning Jacques Saunière about the location of the Holy Grail, after Jacques Saunière revealed the location, Silas murdered him. However, the location revealed was fake news.

After murdering Saunière, Silas calls Robert Langsdon, a professor of symbology, and tells him that, according to Saunière, the keystone is in the Church of Saint-Sulpice in Paris.
Sophie Neveu, an agent of the department of cryptology and Saunière’s granddaughter, arrives at the crime scene and tells Langdon that he must call the embassy. When Langdon calls the number Sophie gave him, he reaches her answering service. The message warns Langdon that he is in danger and should meet Sophie in the bathroom at the Louvre.
