It was a sunny day when Ally was playing fetch with Beatrice and Bella. She threw the ball as hard as she could.

Beatrice and Bella ran as fast as they could to go get the ball. But they did not see where it went.

They thought it might be in the ocean. When they got to the ocean, they saw many things.

All of a sudden, a big bad spider came up to them. He said, “Leave, or else.” This scared Beatrice and Bella. But then another bug came up and said, “Go away Alex, stop being mean.” Alex turned away and left them alone.

Go away!

Beatrice and Bella were very thankful for what their new friend did for them. She said her name was Daisy.

Hi, I'm Daisy!

Hi, thank you for what you did back there. I'm Beatrice and this is Bella.

They told Daisy that they had lost their ball and she said she would help them try and find it. She had a spot she thought it might be. But when they got there, it was not there. All they found was trash.

Since the ball was not in the ocean, they decided to look in the forest. Daisy had been to the forest before but Beatrice and Bella had not, so they were scared. But when Daisy told them there was nothing to be scared of, they were happy.

They looked, and looked, and looked, but they just couldn't find it. So they asked one of the ladybugs there if they saw anything. She said she saw something bouncing towards the trees.

It went towards the trees!
