What's a habitat? A habitat is like a home. It's where I live! My family is there. It is where I eat and sleep. I need to find my habitat!

Fun Fact: Tigers have a variety of habitats. Tigers can live in the tropical forests, evergreen forests, woodlands and mangrove swamps to grasslands, and the savannah. My habitat is in the tropical forest!

I see an octopus. I see a sea horse. I see an orca.
This can't be my home. These animals live and breathe under water. I can't breathe under water.

Fun Fact: -70 degree temperatures have been recorded in the Arctic!

Deserts are very hot and dry in the summers. Most desert animals are nocturnal which means they are awake at night and sleep during the day.

I see rattlesnakes and jack rabbits. It's hot and dry here. There isn't much water.
