The Slava Loaf or Slavski kolač is an important part of the celebration of a Serbian family's patron saint day called Krsna Slava. It is made of plain (wheat) flour with yeast and is mixed with the holy water, which had been blessed by a Priest a few days earlier in a special religious ritual.
