I wonder what makes snacks healthy?


If you want to eat something healthy you obviously need to know if it's healthy or not.
Healthy foods give you enough calories that can satisfy you. Healthy foods can have a low fat level, and give you at least 1 cup of the 4 food groups. If you want to eat something that is very good for your body then you want to eat something that gives you protein, good fat levels and carbohydrates.

Fruit salad
You will get about 1 gram of protein and lots of vitamin A from this salad. Any combination of fruits from your house can be used.
Ingredients
1 cup of bananas, 1 cup of cantalope, 1 cup of apples and 1 cup of blueberries. If you don't have those fruits just get 2 of every fruit you have.
Directions
Step 1: Take a medium sized bowl. Step 2: Wash the fruit you want to use in the salad. Step 3: Cut any type of fruit you have. Step 4: Ask an adult for help with a knife when cutting. Step 5: Put all the fruit in the medium sized bowl. Mix the fruit and enjoy.

Ants on Log
This recipe is very easy to make.
Ingredients: 1 celery stick cut into 3-4 pieces, peanut butter, raisins.
Directions:
Step 1: Wash the celery stick.
Step 2: Cut into 3-4 pieces.
Step 3: Use a spoon to spread peanut butter on the celery sticks.
Step 4: Place raisins on top of the peanut butter and enjoy. Be Careful Of Allergies

Frozen Yogurt Grapes
Frozen Yogurt Grapes is very simple to make.
Ingredients: Grapes, plain yogurt.
Directions: Step 1: Dip grapes in to your yogurt until it's covered. Step 2: Place grapes on a plate. Step 3: Put your frozen yogurt grapes into your freezer for 5-10 minutes. Step 4: When grapes are frozen eat and enjoy.

Apples with peanut butter
Apple slices with peanut butter could be contagious to some people because they could be allergic to peanut butter.
Ingredients
2-6 apple slices
Peanut butter
Directions
Step 1: Slice your apple into chunks or slices.
Step 2: Dip your apples into some peanut butter and enjoy.
Be careful of allergies!!!!!!!

Toast and Jam
Ingredients:
Slice of bread
Jam
Directions:
Step 1: Place your slice of bread in a toaster.
Step 2: Spread your jam on a piece of toast and enjoy.
