I Love American Girl Dolls!

Chapter 2
There are many different types of dolls. There are Girl of the Years, or GOTYS, and they are the most famous and the face of American Girl. They usually retire after a year. Each year, there is a new GOTY. There are Beforevers that encourage girls to learn about there history, and find out who they are.
There are Truly Me dolls, and there are many of these. They do not have a story or a name. You get to pick the one that looks like you, or you can get one that is totally different. All of them come in the same outfit. American Girl recently made Truly Me boys, and they have a different outfit. There is also dolls that do not have a specific name, it is just a collection. Right now, there is Tenney and Logan( Logan was the first boy doll ) and Z Yang. There is Bitty Babies, little baby dolls intended for younger girls. And Wellie Wishers, dolls that are 5+.
Chapter 3
American Girl sells many, many accessories. They sell doll hair extensions to a camper to a bed to a pair of pjs! AG always tries there best to make each product authentic. Each type of furniture, clothing, accessory, and set has a place in the American Girl sections ( see chapter 2 ).
Some products retire just like dolls, and if the doll retires, their clothing, accessories, furniture, and sets usually retire with them, though they usually still sell the DVDs, books, and mini dolls. When a Truly Me doll retires, they do not have specific sets, clothing, accessories, etc. So, when a Truly Me retires, nothing else retires with it because it doesn't have it's own sets.
