This is dedicated to my mother, who has always been my biggest cheerleader. Your wisdom, faith, encouragement, and most of all, love, has and always will be, a part of my life. I love you, mom.

Little Bear lived in the forest with his mama, papa, and little sister. He loved to play, dance, and sing.

"I love to dance, I love to sing, da dee da dee doo. I love to play, and I love me too, da dee da dee doo."

One day, while he was reading in his room, Little Bear remembered that mama's birthday was tomorrow.

He had a great idea. "I am going to get mama the bestest present ever!"
He asked his friend, Tuts, what would be the bestest present ever for mama.

No, that just won't do, but thank you.

How about this juicy
worm?

"What about a
pink butterfly", said
Zelda.

"Or this red leaf," offered Ella.

That sounds great, but it just won't do. Thanks anyway.
Little Bear continued on his way.

Hopper and Rusty Bear were playing soccer by the Ranger's cabin. Little Bear asked them what would be the bestest present ever for mama. Both of them said a soccer ball. But Little Bear said that just won't do.
Little Bear stopped by Grandma Nan's. Her cave always smelled so good. She had made her famous pumpkin pie and gave him a slice to eat. He said it was yummy, but for mama, it just would not do. After saying goodbye, he hurried on his way.

"What about a yummy banana," said Mitch.
"How about some nice juicy apples," offered Bella. "I just picked them this morning."
"No," said Little Bear. "That just won't do."

"What about thesssse beautiful diamondsssss," said Sammy. "Your mom would love them. Pleassssse, come over and pick sssssssome out."

"Thanks Sammy. They are really shiny, but, they just won't do." Little Bear quickly walked on.
