Count nouns are nouns that can be expressed in plural form. Let's go to my spaceship to look at some examples!

Here are some examples of count nouns:

Book- Books

School- Schools

Chair- Chairs

See how they all have an "s" at the end? This is how you know they are count nouns!

Noncount nouns are nouns that cannot be expressed in plural form.

Here are some examples of noncount nouns:

Food

Water

Money

These are noncount because we cannot put an "s" on them because that would sound silly!
