Max was upstairs in his room 

while his parents were making 

dinner. "Max!" his mom yelled, 

"Dinner is ready."

Max and his family were having 

soup for dinner. "Soup is my 

favorite food," said Max, trying 

to be benevolent. 

After dinner Max was told to go 

clean his room. "No," Max said. 

His mother quickly got 

aggravated and yelled at him. 

Max decided that was enough 

and went to clean his room.

Did you 

clean your 

room Max?

After Max was upstairs for a 

little while he wanted to go 

outside. "Did you clean your 

room Max?" his mother asked. 

"Yes, now i'm going outside," 

Max yelled back. 

Max went outside to play while 

his mom watched tv on their 

superannuated television. 

When Max came home later 

that evening, his parents had a 

present for him. It was a new 

video game!

Max's father went up to Max's 

room to play the game with 

him. When he opened the door 

he was met with a cyclopean 

mess. 

Clean your 

room!

His father, with gravitas, 

confined Max to his room.
