Once upon a time in the deep jungles of Amazon in Brazil lived the twins,Gary and Gabby. One fine day....
"Mommy", shouted Gary, above the voice of the rustling noises in the forest, "Gabby is annoying me." Mom replied, "You are the only Glucose molecules who always fight. Learn something from your younger sisters. They are always so friendly and happy."

Hi! I am Gary

And I am Gabby

Gary and Gabby's parents were the head of the whole plant, but were annoyed by their naughty boys. They had 4 glucose molecule children - Gary, Gabby, Sally and Susan. The girls were twins and so were the boys.
Their parents were only annoyed by Gary and Gabby, since they would never stop fighting.

This was a happy plant family where everybody was friendly, kind and loving (except for Gary and Gabby who were always fighting with each other or with others).
The plant leaves made the best food in the neighborhood and every other plant family were jealous of them.
We are so jealous of that plant. They are the best.

Everything was fine for many days but one day the leaves said that they couldn't prepare food.
Gary and Gabby's parents started worrying and all sorts of unnecessary questions came to their mind. When asked, the leaves said that they didn't get any raw materials to prepare food with the process of Photosynthesis. Also they said that, most of their cells were unable to work.
We didn't get any raw materials to make food

The plant family had a meeting and decided that two people from their plant family would go and ask the heat energy (Sun), wind energy (Wind) and hydro energy (Water) to share their energy so that they can prepare food.
After a long discussion with the the senior citizens within the plant, it was decided that two children would go to solve the problem. Gary and Gabby volunteered to do this job.

We both will solve the problem!

The next day Gary and Gabby packed all the things that they needed for a week's time and set off to their adventure.
On their way they first met the Mr. Heat energy ( Sun) and told him that they needed his help. Upon listening to their problems patiently, he said that he couldn't help them. The kids were disappointed and planned to return.

I am afraid that I cant help you little guys.

Suddenly the Mr. Heat energy said that he could help them and the kids rejoiced with happiness.
Next, they went to meet Mr. Hydro energy and thought that they would rest that night and persuade the Mr. Hydro energy next day. In the morning, they went to him and told him what had happened. Mr Hydro energy took some time to answer and then agreed. Now the children thought that they had finished two third of their adventure.

I can help you
The next list in their adventure was to persuade Ms. Wind. They couldn't find Ms. Wind anywhere; so they went and asked a glucose molecule about the directions to meet Ms. Wind. The glucose molecule laughed and said that air/wind is everywhere. The kids thanked him and left to meet Ms. Wind. After they told Ms. Wind about what had happened, she agreed that she would come to the place where they live. Gary and Gabby were very happy to have completed their adventure.

Excuse me, but can you tell us that which place can we meet Ms. Wind.

Hahaha, Ms.Wind is everywhere
When they were going back to their house, Gary and Gabby wondered if their adventure was actually over.
They did finish one part of the adventure but they still unaware why the plant cells were not working. They wrote down a list possibilites that makes the plant cells malfunction. They analysed the list and then they concluded that it was soil fertility which was lacking.

Few possibilities of plant cell malfunction:
-Fluctuating seasons
-Excessive rain
-Soil fertility
-Extreme temperatures
On their way home, they met an old man who asked the boys to visit his house so that he could explain few stuff about a plant structure and working principles.

He first explained them the process of Photosynthesis. He said that, "Photosynthesis is the process in which green plants make food. The plants absorb the light from the sun in the form of Photon and release electrons thereby converting Light energy to Electrical energy. These electrons pass through a number of proteins and liberate oxygen molecule, thus converting Electrical energy to Chemical energy. In summary, Kinetic energy of the Photons are converted into potential energy, stored in the chemical bonds. You also need water and carbon dioxide to make food, resulting in sugar and oxygen. So, the light, water and CO2 are reactants and Sugar and oxygen are products."
