Hello everyone, I'm mother swan. I'm sure you've heard the story of my lost baby, The Ugly Duckling. But no one ever learned about how I felt when my baby was missing.

To this day I still wonder what actually happened to my egg, but that's for another story.

I think I should probably start from the beginning... I was a cloudy day when my laid my egg.

I laid my egg in my nest that I had worked on for weeks in the shady woods. I wanted my baby swan to have a comfy place to hatch and grow up.

One day, I went out to look for more cushion for the nest. When I returned, my precious egg was missing.

After a few minutes of fear, I decided the best way to find my baby would be to search all over the place to try and find him.

First, I searched the hills and plains. My egg was no where to be found. I wasn't ready to give up just yet.

I will find my baby somewhere!

Next, I checked the town. I searched high and low for my baby but he was wasn't there either. I was beginning to get worried.
