Today was the big day! Sophia was finally a big girl. She had been waiting for this day for months. Today Sophia would be picking out her very own pet that she would play with every day.

Before heading to the pet store mom and dad reminded Sophia that with a new pet comes new responsibilities.

"You're going to feed it every day" said Mom.

"You will clean after it" said Dad.

As they drove to the pet store Sophia wondered what kind of animals they had.

They finally get there. Sophia jumps up and down with excitement. She cannot wait to pick out her new friend!

As she walks across the isles at the pet store she sees all different kinds of animals. She sees funny dogs, shy cats,slimy fish,loud birds, and even a tiny pig!

"Have you made up your mind yet?" asked Mom.

Sophia responded, "There's so many to choose from I don't know what to pick!"
