George Washington
George Washington was the commander in chief of the Continental Army in the American Revolution, leader of the Continental Convention, and served as the first U.S. president. He had a vision of a great and powerful nation that would be built on republican guidelines using federal power.
- - Only president to be elected unanimously by Electoral College
- - Reluctantly served second term and refusing to run for third
- - Led his men to Valley Forge to rest and train. Due to a harsh winter, his men were getting sick and getting diseases
John Adams was a leader of the American Revolution, and served as the second U.S. president from 1797 to 1801. He was also an American Statesman and Founding Father.
- - First president to live in the White House
- - Served only one term as president
- - Defended soldiers in the Boston Massacre Trials

Thomas Jefferson


Thomas Jefferson was the 3rd president of he United States and also the main author of the Declaration of Independence. He is also known for approving the Louisiana Purchase in 1803 and sent out the Lewis and Clark Expedition to explore this territory.
- - Jefferson belonged to the Democratic Republican party
- - He said his struggle was, " All men are equal... but I have slaves."
- - Served 2 terms in the White House (1801-1809)
John Marshall was chief justice of the U.S. Supreme Court and an American politician. His legal decisions helped him shape the role in the American government; his first major case happened to be Marbury vs. Madison.
- - Before being chief justice of the supreme court, his job was a secretary of state for John Adams
- - When ratifying the Constitution, he was in favor for it
- He embraced the federalist party
