Nightmare with a Stranger

    Yumi had lived in Mexico for 18 years and was a really beautiful girl. She had long black straight hair, beautiful big eyes, a thin and high nose, and nicely shaped lips. Because of this, she was really famous in her city.

She goes to local high school and has a lot of friends at there because of her personality. She is kindly to everyone, friendly to her friends, helpfully for someone who has any problems and so on.

    One September day was a little cold and rainy, and the sky thundered as she walked across the road near her school at about four o'clock. For a short time, she waited for the traffic lights to go across the street.

A few minutes later, she went back to school and finished her class as always.

When she was waiting, her cell-phone rang.

It was her boyfriend named Jose. Jose went to another school and they had promised to go on a date after school.

"Hi Jose. I just finished my class," she said.

"Hi Yumi, how's it going today? I finished my class just now." Then he

also said, "Where are you? Please, wait for me until I arrive at your school. I'm gonna leave here soon. Okay?"

"Oh, really? I will be going near your school," she said as they were talking.

Then, something suddenly happened; she was grabbed by someone!

She screamed loudly and cried out. Although she tried escaping from the person's hands, she couldn't because something was held to her nose and as a result, she fainted. 

The man who had grabbed her had a tremendously rude face with an unkempt beard and dead-fish eyes was Karlos. He was as dirty and rough looking as a homeless person. 

One day, Karlos waited for a girl who exited the school alone. He had hid behind trees and had waited quietly for a while.

And then, he had seen a beautiful small woman.

Unfortunately for her, the poor girl had been Yumi.

At first, he had approached her slowly and quietly, but quickly.

Yumi hadn't noticed him then because Karlos had gone around behind her, grabbed her, and quickly given her chloroform, which was why he succeeded in kidnapping her.

After Yumi fainted, he put her in his car and took her to his house.

Yumi was put in a basement room and handcuffed, so she could not escape.

Suddenly, Jose heard Yumi yell for help from his cell phone and he called her again. “Hey! Yumi, what happened? Please, answer me."

But, she never answered him. Then, he thought something must have happened to her. As soon as possible, he went to the police office and told them about this.

The police asked, "Do you know where she is?"

He couldn't answer because he really didn't know what had happened, so in the end, they didn't believe him.

   A few hours later, Yumi woke up though her consciousness was stunned.  She could understand the situation that had happened to her, but she felt nervousness and scared. Also, she regretted her behavior because she promised to go on a date with Jose.

He had said, "Please, wait for me."

But, she had wanted to see him sooner and had gone to his school alone. "If I had waited for him at my school, I would have met him," she thought. 

Then, something moved. Something talked to Yumi. Yumi was surprised and understood what it was immediately.

It was a smaller girl than Yumi named Viko. She had short blond hair and big wide-eyes. She was also pretty, but her body was too thin. "Hi, I'm Viko. Who are you?" she asked with a smile.

"I'm Yumi. What are you doing here and where is here?" Yumi asked.

They talked to each other about what had happened to Yumi and her for a long time.

Viko younger than Yumi and was another victim who was kidnapped by Karlos one month prior.  She gave a lot of information to Yumi. For example, Karlos brought meals twice a day; the room had a washroom; and Karlos had the key for their handcuffs.

   Yumi felt despair when she hear what Viko was telling her, but then, she got some good information.

Viko told her, "Every Friday's night, Karlos drank a lot of alcohol and slept deeply."

Yumi came up with an idea after hearing that fact, and talked about her thoughts to Viko. "Do you want to escape from here with me?" Yumi asked. "Of course, I want to, but how can we escape and how can we...?" Viko answered.

"I'm not sure yet, but we can try on Friday night!" Yumi said.

Viko agreed with her, and immediately, Yumi started planning their escape more definitely.
