Inspired by my mother, who taught me how to keep my promises

It was a hot day in Egypt. The heavy red sun was beating down on the animals, taking their energy while traveling to the Nile River. They all helplessly depended on the river for life, but they also feared it.

In the papyrus, there lived Croc, a vicious crocodile. When the petrified animals arrived, he spied on them from far.
.

The next morning, Croc was hungry. During his fresh morning swim, he eyed a large toad, Croak. He quickly grabbed the frightened toad, which was trembling, and it pleaded,’’ Please don’t eat me! If you spare my life, I promise, I will help you one day.’’

''Please spare my life!''
Croc laughed at the idea. ''You, help me?’’, but since he was amused, he let the toad go. Croak was very relieved, but now he had to find chances to help him.

''hop''

Weeks later, he overheard the other animals gossiping about how Croc was hurt, but they were all too scared to find out more. Many questions were popping in his head, but he decided to help.
