Pearryheizen McPear IV
worked as a gardener for Abra Ham Lincoln and his neighbor Jerry Bean.
They both called him Mr. Pear,
but it didn't matter what they called him.
Actually, nothing mattered to Mr. Pear except running in races.
He ran every day after work,
and today there was a big race at noon.

Mr. Pear finished mowing
Abra Ham Lincoln's lawn and was all ready to leave for the big race.
But as he was getting up from the lawn mower,
he fell down.

THAT GUY
#13

"My legs must be asleep!"
Mr. Pear thought as he lay on the ground.
Then his mind wandered to a story he'd heard about someone named
That Guy.
That Guy was a runner,
then one day his legs fell asleep before a big race.
They say he never raced again.

Was this his fate too?
No, Mr. Pear couldn't be That Guy!
He loved running and racing too much!
Mr. Pear knew he had to do something, he had to get up and run in that race!
But How?
