EME2040 Story 2

A long time ago, my family and I used to live in St. Augustine, Florida.
We lived in a small house with me, my parents, and my two little sisters.

My dad worked for Walmart. My mom stayed home with us. We played all day everyday.

One day, my dad came home with some really sad news.

"We're moving!" he said, "I got a job being the new manager at a Walmart in Georgia!"
I was so upset.

"Georgia?" I remember thinking.
Why would my dad move me to a place away from all of my friends and family?
It was really scary seeing my childhood home empty and put into boxes.
Before we knew it, we were on our way to our new home in Acworth, Georgia.

MOVERS
I remember trying to think of what my new house would look like.
Would it be a barn?
Would it be a mansion?

When I moved into my new house, I remember being so shocked at seeing the sight of stairs.

My neighbors were also really friendly. They invited us to play kickball the first day we moved in.

During my first day of school, I remember meeting a lot of new friends, too. These are friends that I would have all the way until high school.

I also joined different sports teams. I did dance, swimming, cheer leading and even diving.
