Sunshine, kayaking, swimming and s'mores.

Oh, how I love the great outdoors!

With all of this excitement that is on the way,

I must be sure to pack necessities so I am able to stay.

There are many things that I must be sure I bring,

I must pack some medicine and band-aids, just in case I get a bee sting!

At night when it is dark I will need a flashlight!

I'll also bring my sleeping bag and pillow to sleep at night.

Oh no! How did I almost forget?

Where will I sleep without my big, green tent?

For the day, I'll pack my swimsuit and a warm towel too.

To go swimming in Lake Michigan, which happens to be the perfect shade of blue.

When I go camping, I eat hot dogs and hamburgers and I always seem to want more.

But, I must be sure to save room for too many s'mores.

As I go through my list and I believe I packed it all.

But, in case I forgot something, I guess I'll have to remember for the camping trip next fall.
