Today was Steven’s first day of school

He was very excited and he wanted to look cool

So he threw on his best bright blue pants

And said “I’ll give this a chance”

He introduced himself as Steven in front of the class, he told them he loves basketball and painting on glass, that's when he heard giggles, chuckles and laughs and began to worry about the kids in his class

Right before recess, Steven spots two kids in the hall, he overhears them talking about recess and ball, Steven asks them if maybe he could join in and play, Maryam and Micheal laugh and ignore him, ruining his day

Steven tells them to wait and begs for a game but they call him a crippled and put him to shame, Steven scoots to a corner and then begins to cry, wondering to himself oh why oh why

Steven cries out "no one want to play with me because I'm in the stupid wheelchair". That's when Jamal hears his cries and comes over to say "hey there buddy, maybe me and you can play"

With a wipe of tear and the lace of a shoe, Steven and Jamal are on the court like 2 peas in a pod, Steven tells Jamal how the other kids made him feel small, so Jamal arranges a 2 on 2 basketball game to show them who's the best after all
