I dedicate this to my mom, a very beautiful, hardworking educator and role model. I love you momma bear. This is for you.

One dark, quiet night, two foxes ran to an old home with their baby cub and left her on the front door. "She will be better off here," said the mother fox, "no one will be able to pick on her any longer." Little did they know someone was watching by the trees!

The little girl in the trees ran over, picked up the baby fox, and took her inside. She set the cub down on a purple blanket and let her sleep the rest of the night.

"Good morning little one, my name is Ella and welcome to my home," said the girl in the pink dress. The scared baby fox looked around for her mom and dad, but they were nowhere to be seen. "I've decided to name you Roxy. I promise to take care of you," said Ella.
The girls spent the night outside watching the stars twinkle until it was time for bed. Roxy looked up and wondered if her parents were looking at the stars too. "Why did my family give me away? Am I not as pretty as these stars?" said Roxy.

How could I make Roxy feel better?...
Ella heard what Roxy had said and started to think. She decided Roxy needed a girls day out shopping to make her feel better.
Next morning, the girls gathered up their things and went back home. "I have a surprise for you Roxy! We're going to have some fun today!" said Ella.

Ella and Roxy drove into town that same morning. Roxy had never been in a car before, so she was a bit scared, but Ella put on music to calm her down. Finally, the girls arrived at their destination!

Ella had taken Roxy to the GOO GOO GA GA MALL. Roxy had never seen anything like this building and ended up getting really excited! She ran into the mall to explore!

GOO GOO GA GA MALL
Ella found Roxy in the men's section with a pair of underwear on her face. "Hey Ella, look at my mask!" said Roxy. Ella laughed and told her the "mask" was a diaper for men. Roxy smelled her mask and said, "yup, it stinks."

After a while, Roxy took off her mask and kept looking around the big store. "MEOW!! I love this Ella what is this?" said Roxy. Ella could not believe what she just heard! "Did you just meow like a cat?" said Ella. Then, people turned around and laughed at Roxy.

Roxy heard everyone laugh at her and started to cry. She put her stinky mask back on and ran away to go hide.
Ella chased after Roxy and found her wet with tears. "Leave me alone Ella! Now I know why my parents did not want me anymore." cried Roxy. Ella hugged Roxy and cleaned her tears from her face.
