Real name john Caboto was an Italian born navigator who explored the Newfoundland for the english in 1497.Caboto was extra credited because he was the first European to land on North America.He made a voyage from Bristol with one ship but he was forced back because of food shortage.

During the renaissance there was a change in political, social,economic,cultural society shift. Humanism was one of the cultural changes.Humanists thought that learning classical greek roman culture helped them in their own time.
Michelangelo was a sculptor, painter and architect widely considered to be one of the greatest artist in the renaissance period.His work demonstrated a blend of Psychology insight,physical realism, and intensity never seen before.He thought that spiritualism is the path to god instead of church.

First French explorer Jacques who claimed the land we call Canada for France.He helped France claim St Lawrence river and Newfoundland.Cartier became a hero for his country but he died because of a plague known as a disease in 1557.

Johannes kepler was a German astronomer,mathematician and astrologer.Kepler was best known for planetary motion and for his books Astronomia nova,harmonics Mundi, and epitome Astronomie Copernica.He had some laws for the planetary motion that earth’s movement around the sun is constantly changing whenever it goes around the sun.One of his discoveries was that a radius vector joins any planet to the sun sweeps out equal lengths of time.

Leonardo was an Italian polymath of the renaissance whose interests were inventions,drawings,painting, and sculpting.He used the humanist method to influence and started to carefully studied Bible for himself and then came to a conclusion that bible should be their spiritual guide rather then the church.he thought of the parachute idea one hundred years before it got invented.

During the renaissance Nicolaus was a mathematician and an astronomer who formulated model of the universe and placed the sun in the middle rather than the Earth in the universe.He created a designed the heliocentric which means a drawing that shows that the sun is stationary all the other planets go around it.Unfortunately for him he awoke out of a stroke looked at his book of the universe and died peacefully.

Christopher Columbus made four trips across the Atlantic Ocean from Spain.He was determined to find a a direct water route west from Europe to Asia but he could not accomplish that.Instead he accidentally stumbled on America.

Johannes Gutenberg the inventor of the amazing printing press.The printing press allowed people to spread large information Quickly.Since the printing press was invented books were cheaper and more people could read and increase knowledge.
