"What do you think of your first car show Frankie? Pretty rad huh?" "These cars are awesome but nobody says rad anymore Uncle Elmer." "Let's take a look around. There are so many cool cars at the convention center." "I hear some loud music. I think they're doing a special presentation. Can we check it out?" "Sure thing" Uncle Elmer responded. "I wish Dad was here. He might even be a bigger car lover than I am." "He's almost done his tour in Iraq. I'm sure he'd be here if he could. Hopefully you'll get a chance to see a car show with him soon."

Frankie was in absolute awe of the amazing cars that filled the convention center. He had loved cars since he was a tyke and would play with them for hours on end. His bedroom with decorated with race car wallpaper, posters of cars, and even his bed looks like a race car. This was the best day of Frankie's life. "Are you having a good time Frankie?" "The best Uncle Elmer. This is such a great birthday present." "And there's still more to come." "What do you mean?" "LADIES AND GENTLEMAN. IT IS NOW TIME TO UNVEIL OUR BIG SURPRISE!" a voice shouted out on the loud speakers.

"MAY I PRESENT TO YOU, GOLD THUNDER! THE U.S. MILITARY'S LATEST AND GREATEST NEW WEAPON!" Soon rock music began blaring as confetti fell from the ceiling. "THIS VEHICLE HAS THE SPEED OF A RACE CAR AND IS MADE OF INDESTRUCTIBLE METAL. THIS IS JUST THE PROTOTYPE. THE REAL GOLD THUNDER  WILL NOT BE READY FOR A COUPLE MORE YEARS. NOR WILL IT BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC USE" the emcee read off a cue card. It was the coolest thing that Frankie had ever seen. He stood there with his eyes bulging out of their sockets and his mouth wide open. "I want that car" he uttered to himself.

"WE HAVE SOME OF THE BEST SECURITY IN THE WORLD HERE TODAY SO DON'T WORRY. THIS CAR COULD BECOME A DANGEROUS WEAPON IF IT ENDED UP IN THE WRONG HANDS.....WHAT THE HECK!" The emcee lost his place on his cue cards as the room became engulfed in smoke. When the smoke finally cleared, a pair of ninjas and a man in a red mask appeared. "Good afternoon Ladies and Gentleman. My name is Red Serpent and we are members of The Black Brigade. "We're here for the car so don't be a hero and nobody gets hurt." The audience began to panic as all of the security guards had been rendered unconscious.

During the fracas, Frankie hid inside the race car. Somehow he accidentally activated the vehicle which screeched across the showroom floor and through a brick wall. "Whoa!" Frankie shouted as he found himself behind the wheel of this incredibly high-powered machine. "How do I stop this thing?" "MY NAME IS OTTO AND I AM HERE TO ENHANCE YOUR DRIVING EXPERIENCE." "Who said that?" "THIS CAR HAS MANY HIGH TECH FEATURES THAT YOU WILL LEARN ABOUT. I WILL BE OF SERVICE DURING OUR MISSION." "What mission? Can we turn around to pick up my uncle?" "NEGATIVE. SECURITY THREAT IS TOO HIGH."

"Oh no! We're surrounded by ninjas in helicopters!" "STAY CALM AND FOLLOW MY ORDERS." "But they're shooting arrows at us!" "THE ARROWS CANNOT HARM THIS VEHICLE. DO YOU FEEL THE NEED? THE NEED FOR SPEED?" "I guess so." "ON THE COUNT OF THREE, I WANT YOU TO PUSH THE GAS PEDAL WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT. ONE....TWO......THREE!" Frankie stepped on the gas as the car zipped down the road like a flash of lighting. The helicopters tried their best to keep up with the blazing fast race car but ending up crashing into one another. "We did it!" Frankie celebrated. Before he was about to exhale, the race car was surrounded by police cars.

"Do you have any idea how fast you were driving back there sir? "Pretty darn fast!" Frankie boasted. "License and registration please." "I'm eleven. I don't have a license." "We're going to have to ask you step out of the vehicle sir"  another officer ordered. "I was at the car show with my uncle when a guy named Red Serpent and some ninjas attacked. I hopped into a race car and suddenly it started to drive on its own. Then I was chased by more ninjas in helicopters." "The old ninjas in helicopters excuse again. Third time I've heard it today." "But..........." "RED ALERT! INCOMING MISSILES!" "Get down officers!" Frankie shouted.

From out the blue, three heavily armored robots appeared and blew up the police vehicles. The officers were roughed up but not seriously injured. Frankie was able to escape in the race car before the missiles connected. He did manage to catch a glimpse of the robots and noticed that they were wearing helmets similar to Red Serpent's mask. After surveying the damage they had inflicted, the robots flew off in pursuit of Frankie and the race car. "Whew! That was a close call. What were those things OTTO?" "THEY ARE CALLED CYBERNATED DEMOLITION CYBORGS AND ARE PART OF RED SERPENT'S ARMY." "Oh!"
