"The Rushed Phantom"

My stomach dropped as my head hit the hard-black plastic traveling upward with the ground far below my feet. I was in the air, cramped in a small, tight space, easily able to fall out

A few minutes earlier, I was scarcely walking up to the large, terrifying, Phantom Rollercoaster. The screams of mortified people filled the air, with little kids running off after it had finished. Why am I doing this? I thought to myself.

“Abby, Hurry up! Come on it will be fun!” Hazey had shouted at me excitedly.
“I don’t want to”
“Why? It's going to be fun!” Hazey recited while skipping over to the long wooden waiting line as my dad followed behind

While we were waiting in line Hazey spotted a bunch of junk, like money, that fell from people's pockets when they had their hands above their heads, their arms raised high.

Suddenly, it was our turn to get in Hazey and I jumped in the front seat together while my dad sat with a stranger in the back, since his friend, Slack, refused to ride the Phantom.

“Are you ready?” My dad asked from the back enthusiastically.
“Yep!” both Hazey and I said.
“You know Haze, if I have to throw up, I'm throwing up on you” I laughed, “you wanted me on here”

We waited and waited for people to get on. Since there were so many people smashed together, there was no way in telling who got in line first. Some people let others go past them, because they were trying to tell their kids it's going to be alright.
The cries of the children and the screams of the people- that were afraid of falling out- did not sound all that great mixed together. Sometimes, it sounded like the horror guy Jason was coming. The carts behind us pulled in and slammed the back of our cart giving us a strong whip lash.

“Sorry!” one of the workers yelled, “It was hard to stop It. You guys should be moving soon!”
Hazey and I sighed, annoyed, at the ugly thought knowing it won't be soon. You must wait till all the people get themselves and their children out, so the workers get the next cart moving as fast as possible after we get back.

The belts let out a loud, noisy click, and pushed down tightly on Hazey and my legs.
The long seven seated cart jerked forwards, then back, suddenly starting to slowly move forward.
Once I get to the top, I'll probably be higher than 100 feet i thought
