Brazil is the fifth largest country and the fifth in population country in the world. Ιt borders with all countries in South America, except Chile and Ecuador.

Brazil was a colony of Portugal since 1500 when it was discovered by Pentro Alvarez Cabral until its independence in 1822.

The climate is tropical and the Amazon rainforest has the greatest biological diversity in the world.
