My main character is Ryan Stanavich and he is exploring the trade in a rotation. This stop is for the trade Tech Drafting.

My story takes place in present time at St. Georges Technical High School.

Tech Drafting is the act and discipline of composing drawings that visually communicate how something functions or is constructed. Some educational requirements for the trade is high school level knowledge, knowing how to use a computer, etc. (wiki, 2019)

Some necessary skills needed for the career are to be adaptable, must have collaboration skills, and must have communication skills. Basically, all you need for the career is a computer and the different programs it offers. (DSTDC, 2019)

My experience was quite challenging because I didn't know what I was doing. We studied how to make 3d objects on the computer and print them out. I personally think that the trade is too challenging for me because there are so many aspects to make your design perfect.

An obstacle that I faced was not knowing where most things in the SoildWorks program were because there were so many different buttons that did different things. An advantage that I had was that I knew a senior in the class so I had got extra help.

My final experience will affect my choice, I didn't really understand most of the things in that trade. I'm not saying that it is a bad trade, it's just, it's not for me.

The reason that I put Technical Drafting on my rotation was because I couldn't put all of the construction trades on my rotation. I had to put something else on there. I knew it was gonna be difficult, I just wanted to see if I could learn something in that time.
