My main character is Ryan Stanavich he is in 9th grade at St. Georges Vo Tech High School. He is rotating the trades and is now is carpentry.

This story takes place in the month of December, near Christmas. The story happens at St. Georges Vo Tech.

Carpentry is the activity or occupation of making or repairing things in wood. Some education requirements are that you need a high school diploma and a trade certification.

Some skills needed for the job are an eye for detail, good math skills, and the ability to follow technical drawings. A fact about carpentry is you could learn to measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials. Some tools needed are hammers, tape measures, nails, and a utility knife.

My experience was interesting because we got to watch other students work on their senior projects. Some of the projects were sink cabinets, desks, and closets (made of wood). I now know how to shape some pieces of wood and put them together.

There weren't really any obstacles or advantages. It was all just watching the seniors do their senior project.

This career trade is up there with all of the other ones, but I find that Auto Tech might be better than this. I do still need to see them all.
