This book is dedicated to my ED 220 class and my best friend Lynia.

It was Thursday afternoon and Lizzie was home from school because there was a big snow storm. Since she had the day off, she decided to lay by the fire and read a good book.

CRASH!! A loud noise came from the kitchen and Lizzie wondered if it had something to do with her dog Lucky.

When Lizzie walked into the kitchen, she discovered that her dog Lucky had jumped onto the counter and knocked over the cookies that she made for tomorrows bake sale at school. “BAD DOG!” Lizzie screamed. This scared Lucky and he used the doggy door to go outside.

As Lizzie was cleaning the ruined cookies and spilled water, she felt bad for the way she yelled at Lucky. She went outside to go apologize to him, but she couldn’t find him anywhere. “Lucky!” She yelled, but he was nowhere to be found.
