To our children...
Wishing their minds always light as the butterflies wings!!

Once upon a time there was a caterpillar named little Hugo. He was very curious and he crawled all day long looking for new adventures. He particularly loved climbing the tree tops to watch the sky, the flying birds and the wonderful colored butterflies. He would have really liked to fly but he was a tiny caterpillar and could only crawl.

One day a butterfly, the most beautiful of the wood, saw him so sad, that she asked him what the matter was. He explained that his problem was that he couldn't fly. The butterfly smiled and caressed him with her wings telling him to be patient, patient... because he would be able to fly one day. He couldn't believe her words because he was only a little caterpillar! But deeply inside he kept thinking about it and hoped..
At a certain point the little caperpillar began to yawn. He was so sleepy! He prepared his cocoon, closed it and fell asleep.
Little Hugo, caterpillar, slept inside the cocoon for a long time!
One beautiful day he woke up... he felt strange, different and couldn't understand why. His thought went back to what the butterfly had told him..

"... one day you too will be able to fly!"

Suddenly he realized he had two wonderful colored wings on his back, just like a butterfly!
He flew on the lawns, on flowers and houses... he had changed in a beautiful butterfly, the most beautiful one he had ever seen before!
So little Hugo, no more caterpillar but Butterfly, is really happy to fly, no more crawling!
