It was a normal Friday in gymnastics. I was practicing my routine on the high beam. I was daydreaming that I was at the Olympics going for the gold. Reality set in when I suddenly tripped off the beam. I fell on the mat and hurt my wrist. My mom let me go home early to give me pain medicine and an ice pack. When we got home my mom told me that I had probably sprained my wrist.

That night I took my pain medicine it didn't really help. So I went to sleep hoping it would stop hurting. My wrist hurt but I made it through the following day. My mom had me ice it down with ice packs and she gave me Motrin to ease the pain. We thought it was a sprain and would heal soon.
