Cuban culture is full of well-kept cars from the 1950s, Monday night telenovelas, and baseball games. Recently, Cuban's have gained more freedom since their Revolution. Cuba is the home to almost 11.5 million people. Cuba is a country full of beautiful scenery, delicious food, Quinceanera parties and unique Christmas celebrations.

Quinceanera Dress

In Cuba, a girl's fifteenth birthday is celebrated as the moment when a girl officially goes from being a girl to a woman. This is a Catholic celebration celebrated widely in Hispanic culture. Specific to the Cuban take on the holiday, there is a "Quince court" that is a great honor to be a part of. This court would be made up of both girls and boys that are close friends and family to the girl. Pictured is a traditional Quinceanera dress that would be worn to a Quinceanera in Cuba.
