Digital citizenship is how students, or people in general, should act when using technology--a way of being a great citizen of the digital world.

There are nine elements that embody the concept of digital citizenship. These elements are:

2. Digital Commerce
3. Digital Communication
4. Digital Literacy
5. Digital Etiquette
6. Digital Law
7. Digital Rights and Responsibilities
8. Digital Health and Wellness
9. Digital Security

Digital access means everyone is allowed to go online and use the internet, however they can access it.

Digital commerce is the element encouraging people to be responsible when buying things online. Being responsible is who you share your credit card information with, where to shop and more.

Digital communication is an element expressing how there are many ways to communicate using a variety of applications online.

Digital literacy is another element of digital citizenship which states we can teach others how to use technology.

Digital etiquette states we must always use our manners when commenting or responding to things online.
