Are you just like me?

I come from the tribe Inuit. Inuit 

comes from the word Inu. Inu in our 

language means "the people."

We live in the north. Most of my 

people live in the country Canada. 

I live in Quebec.

Our homes are made from ice. 

They are called igloos.

Since it is very cold here, the 

girls wear long dresses and the 

boys wear leggings. We both wear 

parkas and moccasins. 

We enjoy playing with other 

children. We also go to school 

and have chores. We have lots of 

chores to do in our day so we do 

not get to play much.

One of my favorite things to do 

is go fishing and hunting with my 

father.
