Tobacco is a plant that is used for mostly smoking, and it can also be chewed. Smoking is VERY addictive, and the chemical that makes it so addictive is the nicotine. This alters the balance of 2 chemicals called dopamine and noradrelaline. When the nicotine changes the level of these chemicals in your body, your enjoyment of smoking increases.
Why Smoking is bad for you.
Smoking is obviously bad for your lungs, as carbon monoxide can get trapped in there, but smoking can also make your bones brittle and more fragile. Smoking can also have plaque build up in your blood, causing you to have blood clots or heart attacks.
