It was the start of a brand new school year. Jay was happy and excited to start his first day of grade 5.

Jay was in Mr. Jayden's class and he knew no one in his class. When the class started playing tag in the morning, he tried to make new friends by talking to the other kids. Everyone in his class was really nice and it was easy for Jay to make new friends.

After they finished one game of tag, they went back inside to the classroom. Mr. Jayden told everyone to check if they had brought school supplies because they were going to start writing. Mr. Jayden also told the class to put their water bottles on their desk. When Jay placed his water bottle on his desk, he heard a sound coming from the bottle.

"Hey! Stop touching me." Jay looked around the table but saw no one there. "I'm down here!"

Jay looked back at his water bottle and noticed that his water bottle had come to life. The bottle had eyes and a mouth on it. Jay looked around quickly to see if anyone else noticed what he was witnessing.

"Change me back! I don't want to be like this," said the water bottle.

"Me?! I didn't do anything," replied Jay.

"I'll have you know, I am a KING. I will have you beheaded if you don't turn me back now!!"

Jay looked confused and scared. He didn't know what to do. How was a water bottle able to talk to him like a normal person? Mr. Jayden started teaching. The water bottle kept talking but Jay ignored it and tried to focus on school.

When the school bell rang for recess, Jay quickly grabbed the water bottle and threw it in the garbage. Jay ran outside with the rest of his class to play. He was having so much fun with his new friends that he forgot all about the water bottle.

Once he went back inside after recess, he looked at his desk and was shocked. The water bottle stood on his desk, with its arms crossed. Jay looked around to see if his classmates saw what he saw, but was shocked that no one was paying any attention to his water bottle. Jay took a gulp and headed towards his desk.
