"A good mustache makes a man for many reasons." - John Oates

Ever since he was a kid, Tom dreamed of having a mustache. He watched as his father took great pride and care of his manicured mustache. "Pay attention son, one day you'll have a masterful mustache like mine." "I can't wait!" an excited Tom shouted. The youngster would look into the mirror daily monitoring any potential signs of facial hair.

The process was a little too slow for 12 year old Tom who thought that one morning he would just wake up rocking a monumental mustache. After a couple of years of patchy facial hair, it finally happened. Tom had grown a real mustache. It was thick and luxurious like a shag rag. Following his father's advice, Tom took excellent care of his mustache which included the use of lotions, potions, and regular visits to some of the fanciest salons in town.

Soon Tom and his mind-blowing mustache became the toast of the town. Women wanted him and men wanted to be him. He was able to get the best seats in the house for concerts and sports events. He never had to wait in line with the commoners when he wanted to dine at the fanciest restaurants in town. Tom's mustache was his ticket to fame and fortune. With his charm, wit, intellect, and that macho mustache, Tom's future possibilities were limitless.

Tom became a big success in the business world as his memorable mustache opened many doors for the young entrepreneur. He lived in a luxurious mansion, had a fancy sports car for every day of the week, and was a worldwide phenomenon. Life was grand for Tom and his magnificent mustache. It seemed as though everything he touched turned to gold.

One fateful morning, Tom's charmed life came to screeching halt. Every morning as he brushed his teeth, Tom liked to admire his mustache in the mirror. But after rinsing his mouth in the sink, he looked up and noticed that there was something missing. Tom splashed some water on his face and looked into the mirror again. And to his horror he realized that something was..........his mystical mustache!

Tom turned his house upside down as he frantically searched for his mustache. Frustrated and exhausted, Tom raced down to the local police station to file a 'Missing Mustache Report.' "Can I help you Mac?" "Yes Officer, I'd like to report a stolen mustache." "A what?" the officer asked before bursting into a fit of laughter. Humiliated, Tom left the police station and headed for home.

When Tom arrived at the front door of his palatial estate, he noticed that his mailbox was overflowing. After sorting through his usual plethora of fan mail, he came across a mysterious letter that caught his interest. He had no idea where the letter came from or who had sent it. The letter instructed him to go to Julius Scissor's Barbershop. Tom jumped into his cherry red sports car and sped off toward the barbershop.

When Tom arrived at the barber shop, it looked like they were closed. The lights were turned off and there was nobody inside. After waiting for ten minutes or so, he was on the verge of walking away when a voice called out from inside, "Come in!" When he entered the barbershop Tom was greeted by an odd-looking man. "Marzio Di Spirito at your service!"

"Why did you contact me?" Tom asked the eccentric barber. "I used to have such a marvelous mustache when I was your age. But I no take care of it and now it looka like cat whiskers. I'm a-gonna help you find a new mustache, Sì?" "Um, sure." Marzio opened a secret door inside the barbershop that lead to Moretto's Mustache Emporium. "Benvenuto Tomasso. Come, you try on some mustaches?" Tom tried on a series of mustaches as Marzio and his cousin Moretto looked on excitedly.

Tom tried on a series of mustaches both big and small, but none of them felt right. "What's a matta Tom, you no like Moretto's mustaches?" "They're lovely but they just weren't the right fit. I miss my mustache. We were a team" Tom said as his bottom lip began to quiver. "Okay, I'mma gonna give you a map. Follow the map and you will meet The Mustache Master. He will help." "Grazie Marzio."
