Once in a small village, there lived a small family. The mother in the family passed away a few months ago. John, as the father, married a new wife named Lucy. Olivia wasn't happy with that. She still misses her mother who just passed away. The evil stepmother also had a daughter before she married John. He would always believe whatever his second wife says about Olivia. So, he always blamed and punished Olivia badly. Olivia was John's first daughter and she was 15 years old like Chelsea, her stepmother's daughter. Olivia is a kind-hearted and sweet girl. She always helped her father do his work and she brought so much joy to their family.
Chapter 2: Olivia and Her Evil Stepmother 4
When John went to work, Lucy treated Olivia badly. She gave her less food, and made her work hard that’s not suitable for her. Chelsea always stole her mom's stuff. But she always put the blame on Olivia. One day, she stole her mom’s ring. “Where is my ring?”, Lucy shouted in anger. “Oh mother, I saw Olivia go to your room. I followed her and went inside then I saw her doing something near your jewelry box”, Chelsea said. Olivia wanted to explain but Lucy replied in a second, “I didn't think that you would do that Olivia! Now, you’re going to do all house work without any mistake or you won’t have dinner for a month.” With everything that has happened, John still believed Lucy and Chelsea. After that, Lucy and Chelsea demanded Olivia to work at the factory to earn money for them. John didn't know about it. One day, John didn't find Olivia and he thought that

Olivia ran away from home, so he was very worried. In the evening, he saw Olivia came back from work then he asked her, “Where did you go?!” But he didn't give her a chance to speak when Olivia tried to explain. He just hit her so hard. When Lucy and Chelsea saw that, they hid the truth and they also convinced John to hit Olivia more. The next morning, John needed to go to work for a longer time. Usually, he worked until five o’clock but he wanted to finish his work so he worked until nine o’clock. The stepmother and stepsister told Olivia to do every house work, “If you make any mistake, you won’t have any meal today and you’re going to know what’s going to happen", said Lucy. In the afternoon, while Olivia was sweeping the floor, the stepsister spilled water on the floor which Olivia didn't notice. When she tried to turn around and step back, she slipped. Olivia tried to get up. Lucy saw her sitting on the floor. Then she asked her, “What are you

trying to do, are you trying to get a rest from work?" But Lucy didn't give her a chance to answer. Lucy just blamed Olivia and started to hit her immediately. She had bruises all over her body and she felt very sore. She started to cry and called her mom’s name. She cried her heart out and told all her problems to her mom. She acted like as if her mom was there with her and listening to her. The next day, her stepmother, stepsister and her father needed to go to John’s sibling’s party. Olivia was left home alone. She was very upset because her father didn't take her to the party. At that time, John was drunk and he drove the car. They had a very bad car accident and sadly, her father passed away.
Chapter 3: After John's Death 7
At John's funeral, Olivia was crying all day long. She was so sad. But Lucy and Chelsea seemed happy. They just pretended that they were sad. but deep inside, they were very happy and excited. Lucy thought that all his wealth and house will be hers. But, everything that John owned was left for Olivia. Lucy spent all her money on card games. She owed a huge amount of money from other people that's why she married John just for money. She thought that it was her chance to steal his money. Since John died, she thought that his wealth will all be hers because she thought that John only cared for her. Olivia signed the paper to receive her father's wealth. When Olivia went back home, Lucy and Chelsea acted so nice to her. Then, they started to ask questions about the paper she signed but Olivia didn't tell them anything. After a week old, Lucy and Chelsea became mean

One day, Olivia was so sick, but instead of helping her, they just blamed and fought her more. They called her lazy and lame. After hearing those words, she was very depressed but she still did her work like before because she didn't want Lucy to be mad. The following day, while Olivia was cooking, Chelsea came and said, “Hey sister, can you sweep the floor and I will cook the food for mom”. So, Olivia just did what Chelsea asked her to do. Then Chelsea added too much salt into the soup. Dinner came, Olivia served the food for Lucy and Chelsea. Chelsea didn't eat the food so Lucy was the one who tasted it first.
