Dear Diary,
Barnabas got me this journal to write down all of my thoughts and I AM SO EXCITED! So, for the entirety of my second missionary journey, I'm going to be writing down everything that happens during the trip so I don't forget! Yay! I can't wait to spread God's Word and write in this snazzy new journal!

Dear Diary,
Barnabas and I left from Syrian Antioch to strengthen the faith of those who belong to the churches we set up on the first journey. Barnabas wanted to take John-Mark with us, but I didn’t want to take him with us. After all, John-Mark had completely left us in Pamphylia during our first journey and didn’t go on the rest of the journey with us. Barnabas got really mad at me and he and John-Mark left the journey! So I took Silas along with me and we visited all the churches in Syria and Cilicia.

Dear Diary,
Today, Silas and I arrived in Lystra after a long walk and met a man named Timothy. Timothy is a nice guy. We talked to him and found out that his mother is a Jew but his father is Greek. I thought about how cool it would be to have this man working with us and helping preach the Word to everyone. Only problem...he isn’t circumcised. We are going to get him circumcised ASAP. Hopefully now we can gain the respect and trust of the Jews in this area. Now there are three of us: Silas, me, and Timothy. Tomorrow we will start going to some churches and strengthening their faith.
-Paul
Dear Diary,
It’s working! Through God’s word we CAN strengthen the faith of others. More and more people are listening and coming to faith. Daily the number of believers increases. Thanks be to God!

Dear Diary,
Today we went through Phrygia and Galatia. After going through Phrygia and Galatia, we wanted to go into Bithynia. However, the Spirit of Jesus did not allow us to. So, we went to Troas instead. I was a bit upset because we walked the whole day getting to Bithynia. But God has plans and I know that it is for the best.

Dear Diary,
It is early in the morning but I have to write down what happened to me this night. I had a vision. The vision was of a man from Macedonia. He just stood there and urged me to go to Macedonia. Literally he said,”Come over to Macedonia and help us!” Then I woke up. I have to tell Silas and Timothy, I know that we have to go there. It is God’s plan, he wants us to preach the gospel there. I hope we can head off to Macedonia in the morning.
-Paul
Dear Diary,
Today, we went to a city in Macedonia called Berea. Berea is a beautiful city, but we didn’t explore the city when we arrived. Instead, we immediately preached and recognized that the Jews here are way more noble-minded than the Thessalonians. That is very good and I hope that they can understand and receive God’s Word easily.
-Paul
Dear Diary,
A few days have passed by. The people in Berea were eager to hear God's Word and they examined Scriptures to determine if famous people are hearing the word and are starting to believe.
-Paul
Dear Diary,
I have good and bad news. First, here’s the good news: Many people are believers now. Here’s the bad news: Today, some Thessalonicans stirred up the crowds. The brothers sent me immediately to the seacoast. I am gonna sail to Athens in the next few days, but this time without my friends Silas and Timothy. They are going to join me as soon as possible and I will wait for them in Athens. It’s been a rough day, but I’m thankfully still alive. Thank you God!
