Once upon a time, a tiny pine nut fell from its mother tree.

It flew and flew, and finally touched the ground near the sea.

The tiny seed was very sad! It missed the leaves, the trunk, the branches of its mother tree.

It missed the sun and the wind, and also playing with the other seeds.

It sank and sank in the ground. The earth felt damp and it was very dark! It felt sleepy...

It made new friends. The ants! And it fell asleep, and it had a dream...

It dreamt it was very big! As big as its mother tree. And its branches played with the wind.

And in its sleep it grew up...

... and up...

... and up... and POP!

It was a sprout!

And it kept on growing,

and growing... because

it wanted to reach the wind and the sun!

It was very happy! And it grew many leaves that looked like green needles. Just like its mother tree.
