Dedicated to Mr. Garza

Once upon a time there was a zebra and a giraffe who were classmates.

The giraffe was showing off to the zebra how she knew how to do ABC factoring
So zebra got mad and said she could do completing the square.
Instead of fighting they decided to teach each other.
The giraffe told zebra that factoring a quadratic function is easy the formula is ax^2+bx+c=0

It is easier than you think.

1 times 12 is 12 now you factor.
She used the example x^2+8x+12=0 and taught zebra how to find the a, b, and c. a is 1 since x is alone b is 8 and c is 12. The second step was to take the a and c and multiply them.
They got 12 when they multiplied their a and c so now they find the greatest common factor of 12. Zebra found that the factor 2 and 6 is the right one because it equals to their b.
