To Grandma Irene

One beautiful summer day Grandma Irene was outside planting in her garden. Laura watched from a far amazed by how Grandma Irene could grow such beautiful flowers.

Laura walked up to Grandma Irene and said, "Grandma how do you get the flowers to look so pretty?"
"Well" Grandma said, "Flowers are just like people, they need food, water and a lot of love."
"Sit down and I'll show you how to plant and take care of a flower" said Grandma Irene.

Flowers go through a life cycle. First we need to pick what flower we want to plant and get the seeds for it. "Here let's plant a rose!" said Grandma Irene
Next we need to dig a hole in the soil, where the flower will get plenty of sunlight.
Then we need to drop the seeds in the soil and cover it back up with the soil.
