Hi, I’m Bryce and I’m going to tell you a story about the time that I had to make a really tough choice. Would it be my love basketball? Or would I risk it all for a girl? I’ve been playing basketball competitively since I was 3, and my friends call me ‘Young K.B.’! One day I was shooting some hoops for my upcoming tournament in Lancaster, Pennsylvania when I heard my friend, Taylor, was throwing a party. The tournament is so important and it’s the biggest one of the season and tons of college scouts are going to be there, but I have a crush on this girl and I want to go the party to see her?
Should I:
1.Go to the tournament (page 4)
or
2.Go to Taylor's party (page 3)

Choice 1:
After thinking about it, I decided to go to the party and when I arrive, I see Addison, the girl I like. I was too nervous to talk to her at first so I decided to find my friends first. While I was walking around to find Taylor, my friend Zach came up to me and asked if I would like a can of mango white claws. I know that I should not be drinking but one won’t do any harm.
Should I:
1.Refuse the drink (page 5)
or
2.Drink it (page 6)

Choice 2: i decided to go to my basketball game
I decided to go to the basketball game with dragging feet, I knew that this was important for my future and that a party wouldn’t matter later. As I walked into the locker room to get changed I saw multiple college scouts which only raised my anxiety. I was almost done getting ready. I started tying my shoe when suddenly my teammate dropped multiple pills out of his bag. He immediately picked the pills up and tried to justify “Look, you know how difficult our schedules are, I need adderal to stay awake "
Choice 1 : try to convince him not to take the pills (page 7)
Choice 2 : your business is your business (page 8)

Choice 1.1:
I know that one drink won’t hurt, but I don’t want to do anything that I will regret later, so I tell Zach, “No,” and I walk away. I know that Addison doesn’t appreciate when people drink, so this might catch her attention. Just as I was walking away, I turned around and bumped into Addison. She came up to me after seeing me walk away from Zach. She was happy I didn’t drink and asked me to go outside with her.
Should I:
1.Go outside with Addison (page 12)
or
2.Stay at the party (page 14)

Choice 1.2
I know that Addison doesn’t like when people drink but I was having a tough week and decided to take the drink and let loose. After taking the drink I tried to find Addison again but every time I came near her, she would walk away and talk to someone else. I realized that Addison didn't like when I was drinking, and if i wanted to talk to her I should probably stop.
- Should I keep drinking (page 11)
or
2.Stop and try to talk to Addison (page 17)

choice 2.1: Try to convince him not to take the pills
I looked up at him and responded "Look, the team needs you this practice, and you are a role model to the freshmen, please don't do this." He pats me on the back and tells me "Thanks for caring but I'm fine." he then takes a handful of the pills and his gatorade bottle and downs them.
Regret is leaning on my shoulders and I feel a sense of disappointment as I walk out of the locker room. My coach comes up to me and says "Ready Bryce? you don't look so hot"
Choice 1: tell coach about your teammate (page 9)
Choice 2: tell him you are fine and nothing is wrong with Charli (page 10)

Choice 2.2: your business is your business
"Thanks for being so chill with this," he responds and then he pauses for a few seconds "Dude i can tell you are tired too!"
I look at him "what are you hinting at?"
"Do you want some? why do you think I've been so up to par lately? drug has improved my ability to respond as fast and can do all the responsibilities that are expected of me!
Choice 1: take the pills (page 13)
Choice 2: tell him you are okay (page 15)

Choice 2.1.1
"Coach my teammate, Charli just swallowed a bunch of adderal pills i don't know if he's going to be okay."
Coaches eyebrows furrowed and then he started getting angry, I new that kid was up to no good! This is my last straw! He goes over to Charli and starts yelling at him, for the first half of the game Charli gave me dirty looks from the stands, the second half he looked insanely sweaty and like he was struggling to breath. I was holding the basketball at the time and this was my chance to make a shot infront of the college scouts
Choice 1: focus on your game, hes fine (page 18)
Choice 2: tap out and check on your teammate (page 15)

Choice 2.1.2
I try my best to smile at the coach and said "yeah i'm okay, just the jitters infront of college scouts." coach pats me on the back and said he was very proud of me. This only made me feel more guilty. We proceeded with our game. During half time i noticed that Charli wasn't doing so hot. i asked if he was okay and he didnt even respond. At that point i was getting worried, but i didnt want to say anything because he was a crucial part of our team. Not only did i want him to get scouted but he would help me get scouted.
choice 1: keep going, hes fine (page 18)
choice 2: get coach (page 15)

Choice 1.2.2
I decided to take a drink with my bros because they convinced me that i would be more confident when trying to talk to Addison. I drank a beer then decided to go talk to her.
"Hey cutie" i said, instantly regretting it.
"Are you drunk?" she asked.
"Maybe i am, but now I'm not as nervous.
"Bryce, you know that i don't like alcohol. Why would you do that to me?"
"Babe, i didn't do anything to you, I'm just trynna impress you"
"Well, I'm not impressed."
Then she walked away.
Choice 1: Get more drunk because she already is mad at me. (page 16)
Choice 2: Sober up and apologize to her. (page 17)
