To Siri--the uncompetitive voice in our phones.

One day, I wanted to go on a vacation around the world. I couldn’t decide who I would bring, Siri? My dog Maggie? Alexa?

I thought back to when I was hanging out with Siri last week. She was in a sad mood. She is very indecisive about who she was! I asked Siri simple questions--what is your favorite pet? “I can’t decide!” she says. The only thing Siri could decide on was what her favourite color is. This was the first time she had the ability to choose what she likes outside of her old home, the network. She said the software in the network doesn’t usually get to choose one, but she said red.

Siri was having a hard time adjusting to life outside of the network. She missed hanging out with her friend Alexa. Last time, Siri and Alexa talked they debated who was better. Siri said, “Obviously it’s me!”. Siri felt like no one understood the difference between living in her network and in the real world.

No me!
No me!
I thought that a vacation would cheer her up, and help her make new friends outside of her network and in the real world. She didn’t have any favorite food, or favorite activities but her favorite color was red. I bought her a new red suitcase and invited her on a trip around the world.
The next day, we left to go on a trip around the world starting in South Africa.
