Miss Ruby science class was full of energetic students. They love watching Miss Ruby doing experiment as they create their own. Each and everyone of the student love finding out new things as they asked lots of questions to Miss Ruby.

"What are we learning today Miss Ruby?" asked Ella.

"well, Physical properties is a characteristic that you can measure or observe without

changing the make-up of the matter".

"We will be learning about physical properties of metal, non-metal, and metalloids".

Miss Ruby use periodic table to explain the different between Metal, non-metal, and metalloids.

The teacher start by teaching Physical Properties of Metal.

Physical Properties of Metal:

Some physical properties you will be learning today is Luster, Condutivity, & Malleability

-Luster

-Conductivity

-Malleability

Those words look fancy but hard.

Luster is one of the most important one in property of matter.

-Metallic minerals have the lustre of polished metal.

The Example of Luster is your phone or a ring. They both reflect light which means that it has luster.

Another property of matter is Conductivity.

Conductivity is the ability to

transfer heat or electricity.

Careful when you cook at home. You do not want to grab the pan handle. It has a lots of conductivity, it will burn your hand.
