To all those children that wish to be different.

Once upon a time, in aisle A5 at Clock’R’Us lived a row of little blue clocks. There was a red and white striped clock named Clarky. Clarky always felt out of place because he was different from all the other blue clocks.

Hahahaha

One day, as all the clocks were playing late at night, a blue clock made a mean joke. They were all playing freeze tag and no clock would unfreeze Clarky.

No ones likes different!
Blue, one of the other clocks told Clarky, “Haha, you’re not getting picked because no one likes stripes.” Clarky was sad and went home crying. This was not the only time Clarky had been made fun of, it has happened to him all his life. As he ran out he said, “I hate my life!”

Clarky was so upset. He hated being different from everybody else; he wanted to be invisible. Clarky thought about his favorite book character, Harry Potter. He wished he had an invisibility cloak just like Harry.

He wasn’t sure of where he could find one so he went with Plan B. Clarky jumped to the next aisle where the paint was. He looked for blue paint so he could paint himself. He figured this would be a sure way the blue clocks would accept him but unfortunately, they were out of stock.

“Oh man, what could I do to become invisible,” Clarky thought. An old brown paint can overheard him talking to himself. The old brown can of paint asked, “hey little man, what is going on?” Clarky went on and explained how he has been bullied all his life and how it is not fair.

“Only because I am different, the other clocks don’t treat me like one of their own.” He then shared his amazing idea about wanting to become invisible so the blue clocks would stop making fun of him.

The old brown can of paint began to explain how everything at Clock’R’Us was special to someone in some way. He shared a story of how one of his friends felt the same way. His friend’s name was Neo, a neon yellow paint can. Neo was always upset because it seemed like no one ever paid any attention to him.
