LET ME INTRODUCE YOU TO SOME OF THE CHARACTERS

INTRODUCTION

THIS IS NICOLE AND HE IS THE MAIN CHARACTER .

This is Nicole's sister, Mercola

This is the king who rules the evil people.

Summary

This is a story which takes place before you were even born!It includes a village boy who adventures around an unknown world including monsters and creatures he hadn't even thought about !So come and join him in his adventure and fall into a world of mystery.  

The wind howled in the village called Barkunda and the sky was dark.The villagers came out of their houses .This had never occurred before. Nicole Roundbun, a ten year old boy ducked underneath his strict father to look at this peculiar thing .His seven year old sister, Mercola and he had been instructed to remain inside.While Mercola obeyed,Nicole burst with curiosity stayed out. He was so curious that he disobeyed his ever so strict father just to see this.Some tall and broad men could be seen, marching towards the huts.

PART 1 : The takeover

'' What is this , who are you and why is the sky black?'' barked a villager to the marching men. There was no response . They kept marching.At last they stopped. The biggest and broadest soldier in the army came forward and spoke in a deep and booming voice ,'' I am Brondaza, we have come to rule you.We are from the valley called Narcassa and the sky is black because we cause everything to wither,'' He said this all without hesitation.Then he turned around;his troops followed,and they marched back. If anyone thought they were going to leave, they were out of their minds.

Nobody spoke for a while. Then all at once , an outbreak of murmuring and angry whispers filled the whole area.''What do they think they're doing?'' or ''I had a hunch I was going to hate them the moment I saw them marching up the hill''

I AM BRONDAZA......

The following months were as awful as getting a punishment for something you did not do.The happy village was now as dull as a black and white movie .The farmers were forced to grow twice as much as crops as they were used to,the water from well was getting dried up every few hours , the children were forced to do work and not studying when they went to school and the milkmaids had to carry 6 litres of milk at one time ,just to name a few.They had also made some workers build a castle.The siblings father, Sakaruma, though he was the head of the village, he did not do anything.One hard day, Nicole decided that it was enough .

Suddenly , Mercola heard her brother's voice whisper shouting,'' Come on ! We don't have much time!'' They hurried off into the palace ;their last glimpse was of the lion roaring and the soldiers running and shouting. They quickly ran into the castle. The walls were made out of pure gold and pots and props were made out of bronze or mostly silver.They wandered around until Mercola beckoned Nicole to a big, magnificent entrance.There , a man , who looked like a boar, was shouting at a possibly eighteen year old boy who was whimpering.

His mother and father were out and Mercola was sleeping and he was very angry as a warrior had slapped him about not doing his work properly.He was going to go to the beasts' headquarters and tell them face to face that he was sick of this. At this point of time , he wasn't afraid of anyone. Just as he was leaving, he heard his sister's voice''I'm going with you wherever you're going and you can't disagree, '' ''Save your breath ,'' she added as Nicole opened his mouth to protest .''If you go, and mother and father find me alone , I'll be bombarded with questions,''

PART 2 : THE HEADQUARTERS

Nicole was speechless.His younger sister had outsmarted him.She came up beside him and they started to walk together. The happy and colorful village now looked as dead as a doornail. With every step, fear and guilt filled Nicole.

At last, they reached a castle. There were two guards standing in front of it . Nicole knew by the look of these people that they were greedy and would fall for tricks including

food .But they couldn't just devise a brilliant plan then and there . Suddenly , he could see a lion.Then a light bulb popped on in Nicole's head.It wasn't an original idea , but it had to work.He ran forward, shouting,'' There's a feast going on! There's a magnificent feast held by the villagers !'

The siblings were delighted to see them both smacking their lips. But one of the men cleared his throat and boomed,''How dare they!? We are going to stop the feast!'' Then nodding at each other they started to move forward.One spoke ,''Thank you , boy who I do not know,''And then they went. Both children looked their way to confirm that they were secure. A little deep down, they both wished that the men would get gobbled down by the bloodthirsty , flesh eating lion.

Nicole was marching down the hall before Mercola could stop him.''Excuse me, I am Nicole Wildeman, son of Sakaruma Wilderman and I have a complaint,'' ''Eh?Who are you?How 'd you get in?'' '' I just introduced myself!'' His shout ran down the hall.

''Come here , boy, listen to me ;don't ever shout at your elders !'' His voice was raspy , like he had a sore throat. ''You have angered me , you filthy boy and now to calm me , you have to survive a mystical forest, a sea full of hideous and ferocious creatures and drive away the giants from Narcassa which have made us come here''Unconsiously, Nicole said yes. The king gave him a map , just to find all the things.Nicole was surprised by this, but decided not to question this offer. Then he went on his way.

His sister , still crouching behind the door, finally came out ,shrieking,''Where have you sent him? What have you done?'' ''Who are you?'' '' I'm his sister, you fool!''''Well, well, you both have a fondness for shouting ,don't you?'' ''PUT HER IN THE DUNGEONS! '' he roared. Two guards immediately picked her up and went away.Meanwhile, Nicole had just walked 3 miles. He kept looking at the map seeing the directions for south. After hours of walking, he finally reached a forest.This forest was very unusual.

Part 3 :The adventure begins

Nicole started shivering . It was because of cold and fright. But he was not going to give up. A sudden thought struck him. Where was Mercola? How was she?He decided to move on . The forest started with little twigs and branches but as he went deeper, it was getting darker. The forest was growing quiet.In a while,not a sound could be heard. All at once he realized that the forest was closing in on him!The trees started singing evilly and the plants started playing violins!Lightning struck and a huge tree fell down right in front of Nicole.

Even the flowers looked dry. He ran more deep into the forest just to get out of this.There were 10 bonfires dancing.Witches zoomed by and cackled loudly.Then all of a sudden,the forest completely closed in and all of it was gone. Nicole's feet touched the ground and his head jerked up. Yes! He had escaped! Nicole started moving forward, still shocked that he was untouched.He went west, as the map showed him. The boy walked for 30 minutes, still tired and shocked, until he slumped on a tree. He woke up 3 hours later to find out it was night. After that rest, he didn't need more sleep .So he continued on.

At last , he reached a sea . It was very usual . The same waves and the same sound. Even though it was usual, it was very beautiful and calm. What he didn't know were the monster who lived underneath.He couldn't swim very well in a river , let alone a sea. For a while he stood there , reconsidering his thoughts over and over again .'I wish I had a boat',he thought.Suddenly a boat appeared before him. Frightened but amazed, he climbed into the boat. It shot like a rocket.
