This book is dedicated to a little girl named Gabriella. Sometimes when the adults disappear, she turns into a cat.

To the untrained eye, Gabriella was a normal cat.
She loved to sunbathe and chase shiny things, lick her paws and faithfully use her litterbox.
But Gabriella was no ordinary cat.
When Gabriella’s humans were away, she would wander over to the window and look both ways to make sure no one was watching.
Then Gabriella would pretend to be a little girl.
It started out small, just standing up on her two hind legs and walking around the living room.
But before she knew it, she was reading books and coloring with crayons and pretending to comb her soft, snugly fur into a ponytail.
Things really got serious when she started using the toilet.
Gabriella’s humans were none the wiser until one day they came home with a brand new baby.
Exhausted from another sleepless night, Gabriella’s humans left her alone with the baby to catch up on some much needed Z's.
Shortly after they left, Gabriella woke up from her own cat nap and stretched a deep kitty stretch. She noticed that no one but the baby was around.
Gabriella had no idea that the humans could check in on the room over the baby monitor.
So when she began pretending to be a little girl, the humans saw the whole thing live!
