Once, there was a boy named Eric. More than anything, he wanted an Iphone 11. He saved up the weekly allowance his parents gave him, until one day he earned enough cash to buy it.

As he walked down the street, he spotted a familiar face in the distance. When he got closer, he realized it was his friend, Joshua.

"Hey!" Joshua called,"where are you going with all that cash?"
"Oh, just to the Apple store to get a new Iphone," Eric responded cheerfully.
"Yeah, but I thought you already had an Iphone," Joshua said.

"Well, this one's newer and better," Eric explained,"Besides, what else could I possibly spend the money on?"
"Well, since I already own an Iphone, I thought I'd give my money to the missionaries who are about to go to Guatemala," Joshua said.

"You see," Joshua continued,"some of the people in the part of Guatemala where they're headed can't even afford decent food. Much less an Iphone."
Eric felt guilty. Sure, he earned the money himself, but would it really be so bad to stick with the Iphone he already had? He would give the money to the people who needed it more. Not because he had to, but because he wanted to.
